Note	Inscription on the back of the photograph says, "Sam W. Gibbs, Fairview, home made broiler house." The image appears in the Farmers Federation News, September 1948 issue, page 9. The caption is titled, "Rock Chicken House" and says, "Ray Deitz, of the Marketing Department, is shown above as he inspects a broiler raised by Sam W. Gibbs of Fairview. Mr. Gibbs constructed his broiler houses from rocks picked up on his property at a cost of approximately $25.00 per house, which means more profit from the broilers."
