Description	In this letter to his friend (Dr. Roland D. Carter, Department of English, University of Tennessee at Chattanooga), Stuart writes about receiving news about the acceptance of his daughter Jane's first novel being approved by her publisher. He reminiscences about Harry Harrison Kroll's classes as being "far away and long ago." Stuart asks his friend if he remembers reading a story entitled "Old Doc" portraying an interesting horse and buggy veterinarian who treated people's livestock.
