| Title | Forestry and foresters / [unknown]. In Mountain herald / Lincoln Memorial University. |
| Description | An article from the "Mountain Herald" about forests as one of our greatest natural resources. Our forests benefit commerce and provide value as recreation grounds and for water-shed protection. The environmental problem of the depletion of timber resources is discussed, with a view towards the need for technically trained foresters and forest rangers at the national forests and among the lumbermen and paper pulp manufacturers of the United States. The article concludes with a description of forestry opportunities offered at Lincoln Memorial University in the School of Forestry. |
